Overview

What it is

The Heetu K-Pack Cross-Flow Separator (CFS) moves wastewater horizontally through tilted plate packs under gentle, plug-flow conditions. That non-turbulent path lets even fine oil droplets coalesce and rise while solids slide down the plates — making it especially effective on heavy fat, oil and grease streams.

Its compact geometry makes the CFS a natural fit for retrofits and space-constrained plants that still need dependable primary separation.

Features

Key features

  • Laminar plug-flow across tilted plate packs
  • Captures oil droplets as small as 60 microns
  • Compact footprint suited to retrofits
  • Strong performance on heavy FOG loads
  • Flow range from 2 to 150 m³/hr
  • Material and sizing options per stream
Working principle

How it works

Horizontal plug flow

Wastewater enters through tilted plate packs under calm, non-turbulent conditions.

Oil coalesces and rises

Droplets merge on the plates and rise to the surface for removal.

Solids slide down

Settleable solids slide along the plates into a dedicated sludge hopper.

Clarified water leaves

Treated water exits for discharge or downstream processing.
